for example in this way you can setup a POP3/SMTP account and use Lotus Notes client as indernet mail client, the same way you can do this with outlook express or mozilla tunderbird.

To create new Lotus Domino Account you have to open Domino Administrator
open the people and group tab, and in the tool panel on the rignt select Registrer....
